Vijay Rajaraman
Dr. Vijay Rajaraman is an Associate Director and a core member of Arthur D. Little (ADL)’s Telecommunications, Information Technology, Media & Electronics (TIME) as well as the Automotive & Manufacturing Group (AMG) practices, and co-leads the firm’s Semiconductors & Electronics Convergence work from Europe. Due to his broad technology, engineering and management experience in the industry, Vijay’s consulting work at ADL has focused on Technology, Product & Market Strategies, R&D and Product Development Excellence, Innovation Management, Program Management as well as Due Diligence for M&A. Vijay has successfully advised clients across industry verticals in the Semiconductor, Electronics, Automotive & Mobility, IoT, Medtech, Private Equity as well as Policy Makers in Europe, Middle East, Asia and USA. Vijay gained more than 20 years of industry experience in Consulting, Management, Engineering and Research functions related to Semiconductors, MEMS, Sensors, Automotive Electronics and Industrial Automation having worked for global organizations such as Renesas Electronics, Bosch (Automotive Electronics), TDK Electronics, Infineon Technologies, NXP Semiconductors, Siemens and MicroSenz Consulting, his own firm. Vijay holds a Doctorate (EE) in Microelectronics (MEMS Sensors) from the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Netherlands, a MS (EE) degree in Sensors Systems Technology with a dual specialization on International Business from the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, Germany and a BE degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from SASTRA, India. Furthermore, Vijay has completed an Executive Program on Business Development, Strategy and Innovation at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Germany and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute, USA. Vijay is a serving member of the executive committee for SEMI MSIG’s MEMS and Sensors Executive Congress (MSEC). He is named a coinventor on numerous patents and has authored numerous publications related to MEMS, Sensors, Semiconductors and Measurement Systems.
