Dr. Guru Prasad Arudi Subbarao received Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 2002, Master of Technology (M.Tech) in the field of Digital Communication and Networking in 2007 from Visvesvaraya Technological University and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Optical Sensing from prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India in the year 2012. Dr Prasad also completed one year of Post Doctoral Fellow (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore)
Dr Guru Prasad in his career, worked both in academic and corporate settings in India and Abroad from a very small startup to a global corporate giant at capacities from entry level engineer to Technical Director. Dr Prasad is a recipient of “Young Scientist in Photonics: Prof Selvarajan’s Award” a national Award given by MHRD, Govt of India.
He has expertise in providing advanced sensor solutions for measuring wide variety of physical and chemical parameters for requirements from the different areas like, Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace, Agricultural etc,. Presently, Dr Guru Prasad is spearheading Sensors for IoT and EDGE Computation which are two trending and strategically important topics for Bosch and BGSW.
Dr Prasad is an unique personality with strong background academics and has more than 30 patents and more than 50 publications in peer reviewed conference and journals.
